VERA by Provitude

Hire on what people can actually do — verified.

VERA replaces CV screening with a short Skill Check, a real piece of the job, and a quick confirmation step. Employers get a ranked shortlist in about 45 minutes of their time. Candidates spend about 12.

Verified skills, not claims.

Results only count once they’re confirmed, so the shortlist reflects what people can really do — not how polished their CV is. And a person, not a machine, makes every decision.

How it works

1

Skill Check

Short, timed questions about the core skills of the job. Taken once per field and reused for 6 months.

Everyone · ~12 min
2

Job task

A realistic piece of the job, reviewed without names.

Only people in the running · ~20 min
3

Confirmation

A short, personal step that confirms the results are your own.

Only people near the top · a few minutes
4

Shortlist & interview

Candidates in clear groups with plain-English reasons, and a structured interview guide.

The company decides

For employers

Review a handful of strong, verified candidates instead of a pile of CVs. VERA does the heavy lifting and only asks you for quick decisions.

For candidates

No CV filter, no keyword games. Every step is short, you see your own results, extra time is one click away, and a person reviews every decision.

Fair by design

No test is perfect, so VERA shows ranges instead of fake exact scores, is regularly checked for fairness, and never lets a machine reject anyone.

Questions

Does AI decide who gets hired?

No. AI never scores, ranks or rejects anyone. A person at the company makes every decision, and you can ask for a human review at any time.

Can people cheat?

Results are confirmed before they count, and questions are unique to each candidate, so outside help doesn’t get anyone onto a shortlist.

Do you track my keystrokes or webcam?

No. VERA doesn’t record keystrokes, typing, tab switches, webcam or voice, and never tries to read emotions.

What if I need adjustments?

Choose 1.5× or 2× time before any timed step — no proof needed, and companies aren’t told why.

Can I ask for a different way to be assessed?

Yes. If VERA doesn’t work for you — because of a disability, a technical problem or any other reason — ask the company for an alternative process or accommodation through the messages on your application, or email hello@provitude.com with the job title and we’ll pass it on. You can also ask for a human review of any decision from My applications.

How long does it take?

Most candidates spend about 12 minutes. Only people in the running are asked for the 20-minute job task, and only those near the top do the short confirmation step.

What do companies see?

Your skill results as ranges, your job-task work, and plain-English reasons for where you stand — never a single pass/fail number. You see the same reasons in My applications.
